Thank you for the kind words @blueghost \n For messages to be claimed (or auto-claimed), the system does not need to know to which consumer they were assigned to originally. \n For this case we have the `minIdleTimeMs` - this is the time how long a message can sit assigned to a consumer, but not acknowledged. \n When message that is assigned to a consumer, but not acknowledged (in `pending` state) is over the `minIdleTimeMs` then it can be claimed by any other consumer.
