I did think this would go through editing before its published. Any evidence to ‘scrapped’ has been removed ;-) But to your point its the user and not the tool that responsible. We know that these models where trained on volumes of data. Explicit consent was not given but it’s also not clear that the people using those pictures for training breached copyright, because the license did not have specific limitations on AI training.
