[**Picking the low hanging passwords**](https://hackernoon.com/picking-the-low-hanging-passwords-b64684fe2c7) **by** [**David Gilbertson**](https://medium.com/@david.gilbertson)**.** _According to a not-at-all recent_ [_report by Keeper_](https://keepersecurity.com/blog/2017/01/13/most-common-passwords-of-2016-research-study/)_, there’s a 50/50 chance that any user account can be accessed with one of the 25 most common passwords. And there’s a_ **_17% chance that the password is 123456_**_. This strikes me as absolute rubbish, but it got me thinking, if I want to get unfettered access to some user accounts, and I don’t really care which accounts, rather than using ‘brute force’ by trying many passwords for one user account, it makes much more sense to flip that and try one password on many user accounts._

That $1 allows the Food Bank to provide $5 worth of food due to their ability to purchase in bulk. The $2600 raised could provide $13,000 worth of food thanks to SF Marin food bank or it could mean more much needed storage space. Debbie Bullish, Community Engagement Manager from SF Marin Food Bank, tells us: “Currently the warehouse comes in at an impressive 55,000 square feet. It’s built to hold 28m lbs / year, however we deliver 48m lbs/year, which is equivalent to 100,000 meals/day. We simply don’t have the capacity to run at full throttle and that is a grave shame considering the impact this charity is making.”_
