For every new Bay Area resident, two are leaving. The Golden State experienced a population decline for the very first time in 2020, costing it a Congressional seat. Two out of every three tech workers would leave the Bay Area if they had the option to work remotely. To get top talent, Silicon Valley will need to go remote to keep top talent. Remote work experts expect many tech workers will demand the option of working remotely, according to experts at Turing’s Boundaryless: #ScalingPostPandemic Conference.
