California Governor Gavin Newsom signed the Delete Act into law. The Delete Act is giving Californians the power to tell data brokers, "Delete my data, and don't you dare sell it!" The California Privacy Protection Agency (CPPA) has been handed the baton. By January 1st, 2026, you'll be able to make that golden request.
