DevOps is a set of practices that combines software development (Dev) and information-technology operations (Ops) It aims to shorten the systems development life cycle and provide continuous delivery with high software quality. Containerization is a technology that makes it easier to follow the DevOps practice. It allows for the packaging of an application and its. dependencies into a container, thereby, helping to ease the development and. accelerate the deployment of the software. It helps maximize output by doing away with the need to replicate the local environment on each machine on which the solution is supposed to be tested.
