Too Long; Didn't Read

I’ve recently been digging into Simple Token. I’m a big fan of any service that makes it easier to create or manage a new ecosystem. Ethereum at it’s core was the insight that creating new tokens was challenging technically, but also challenging in terms of wallet adoption.

Simple takes it a step further, effectively solving the wallet, permissions, analytics and more that any thoughtful organization would want when issuing a token. Think of it as the WIX or Shopify of tokens. They make it simple and easy to look like a pro even if you’re just an old school business that is trying to find ways to incorporate token mechanics into your business. They add a ton of functionality and services on top of ERC20 that make it a no-brainer for folks who can’t afford a full development team focused on deploying code in Solidity.

After digging for a while I talked to Jason and agreed to become an advisor and help with the business. The team is impressive (Jason is a serial founder). The idea has some real tech which has already been open-sourced. And they’ve announced 5 partnerships already, so it’s not the unfortunate vaporware you sometimes see.
