We are going to discuss Reactstrap vs React-Bootstrap, what they are and what’s the difference between them.

What is Reactstrap?

It is a collection of custom React components that implement an easy-to-use and familiar API for developing your web applications. It works by extending the standard React DOM element interface, allowing you to easily integrate with other libraries you might be using, it provides simple and sufficient CSS tooling out of the box, via styled-jsx, and a whole lot more.

Reactstrap is a dashing library for React.js which provides the ability to produce the components in form of HTML templates. Form fields, links, buttons everything appears in an HTML template.

What is Bootstrap?

Bootstrap provides a solid foundation for building an app or website that doesn’t require writing a single line of code. Basically, a bootstrap is like an image sitting beneath the lid of your ice cream cone that makes everything look good.

What is React-Bootstrap?

React-Bootstrap is a direct follow-up to Twitter’s and Facebook’s implementation of the open-sourced version of Bootstrap, called Bootstrap. React-Bootstrap takes the same HTML, CSS, and Javascript used by Bootstrap and then adds in additional functionalities and features that will help developers build more complex applications in a timely fashion using components that have already been tested.

Step 2: After installing it, import bootstrap in index.js

import 'bootstrap/dist/css/bootstrap.min.css';

Step 3: Now import reactstrap in app.js

import { button } from 'reactstrap';

Here we imported a component from reactstrap called button and we are going to use it.

//app.js

import React from 'react';
import { Alert } from 'reactstrap';

const App = (props) => {
  return (
    <div>
       <Button color="primary">
           Click here to continue
       </Button>
    </div>
  );
};
export default App;

Here we go just run the project with the given command and it will show a button with the color primary at your localhost.
