HarperDB’s ARRAY() function is an aggregate function, similar to COUNT, SUM, AVG and COUNT. The difference is that while standard aggregate functions will return computation results. HarperDB can perform these transformations out-of-the-box with a single query. This query effectively performs the job of an ORM without the need for bloated software. Use Cases for the use of the function include a simple example of people with addresses and phone numbers. You can also view the data below to see the data from a single table.
