With the startup world reeling from SVB's implosion, an aftershock threatened the crypto community - as USDC, with 8.2% of its total reserves held in SVB, fell to 88 cents after a temporary de-peg. However, Circle, USDC's issuer, has since announced that its reserve risks have been "removed" and all appears to be well.
