Paintads is an exciting new in advertising+ startup technology space. We are trying to create an online marketplace for ad-spaces in India. We aim to connect advertisers with ad space owners. Advertisers would get to search for the best, most suitable options where they can advertise. Space owners will get better visibility for the spaces they own. The market for non-conventional advertising has not been growing due to the lack of information about them. We aim to create a discovery tool for non-conventional ad spaces such as areas within gymnasiums, hospitals, hotels, restaurants, PGs, play schools etc. Eventually we will look at covering conventional spaces as well to make Paintads a de-facto place to go to when looking to advertise. We are currently at the product development stage and are looking to build a team around the idea, as a product is as good as the team building it. We have started collecting data and have already established a good number of data points for Gurgaon. Also the website has a basic prototype ready. However, since the vendor who has made the website was not very competent, I feel we will need to take some UI elements from the prototype and make the web product from scratch. So we are looking for some enthusiastic tech guys and also some team members who can work with me in identifying new categories of non-conventional spaces and collecting data from the market. www.paintads.com is how hackers start their afternoons.
