Too Long; Didn't Read

Elon Musk presented a live demonstration of his brain hacking device LINK V0.9.9 on August 29. It is believed that the device could help treat and cure mental illness. The chip would strive to understand human intelligence in a functional manner. With the device embedded in the human brain, it is expected that human understanding would be accelerated, giving paraplegics the ease to control activities through their mind. Musk's chip might even answer where does the reasoning ability in a human brain resides?
