Too Long; Didn't Read

The Network Information API provides information about the system's 'wifi' connection type. This can be used to select high definition content or low definition content based on the user's connection. The API is available in Web Workers. It is an experimental technology that is being tested by Mozilla's Browser compatibility table. It will only be used in the Browser's Web Workers version of Firefox. It can also be used for preloading large resources that take large amounts of bandwidth or memory. It provides a means for scripts to be notified if the connection type changes.
