If you’re seeing this interview draft, it means you’ve recently published on HackerNoon a story that the community found interesting and/or valuable. For this reason, we would like to help the community get to know you better as well as find out some writing tips from you.

While this template is automatic, our interest in the answers below is genuine and our human editors (and some cyborg wannabes) will review it before publishing.

So let’s start! Tell us a bit about yourself. For example, name, profession, and personal interests.

Hey there, beautiful humans of HackerNoon! I just have to say, I am absolutely thrilled about this interview! I mean, seriously, it's one of the things I'm most proud of.

My name is Prithvi Raj Chauhan, and I'm beyond excited to be here and share a little bit about myself. You know what's super cool about my name? In Hindi, Prithvi means planet EARTH! And, if you didn't know that word before, you've learned something new today - woohoo!

I'm currently a third-year engineering student and a self-proclaimed "information junkie" - especially when it comes to all things tech and finance.

But, I'm also deeply passionate about human history and space and love pondering those big, existential questions that really make us think.

Whether it's "Who are we?" or "What's at the edge of the universe?", I find myself getting a serious dopamine hit from exploring these fascinating topics.

Right now, I'm interning as an Associate Product Manager at FLAM - an incredible startup that's working to build the world's Social Metaverse.

I'm seriously in love with all things Metaverse and AR/VR and could honestly talk about them for hours on end. But, I promise to save some of that info for my upcoming blog posts!

Interesting! What was your latest Hackernoon Top story about?

My latest story was about the Dot-com bubble 2.0. If you’re in the tech industry, then you know very well that we’re witnessing mass layoffs and valuation drops among tech companies and startups. But this isn’t the first time such events are happening.

So if you want to know why all of this is happening and who is responsible for this, then my Dot-com bubble 2.0 story will give you a brief overview of everything you need to know.

Do you usually write on similar topics? If not, what do you usually write about?

So, when it comes to my writing, I'm totally obsessed with all things Metaverse and AR/VR tech. But, I've gotta admit - I also love staying up-to-date on all the latest financial happenings around the world.

I find that writing about these topics helps me to better understand them, and in the process, I end up sharing all sorts of fascinating ideas that pique my curiosity.

Great! What is your usual writing routine like (if you have one?)

So, I have to admit - I don't have a super-strict writing routine at the moment. I kind of just write whenever the mood strikes me, you know? But, I'm really working on making a change in that area.

My goal is to start writing more consistently, and I'm aiming to publish two hyper-informative blog posts each and every month.

I'm seriously passionate about sharing all sorts of fascinating ideas and insights with the world, and I know that creating a solid routine will help me to do just that.

It's not always easy to carve out the time for writing, but I'm determined to make it happen. Whether it's finding a few extra minutes each day or setting aside specific blocks of time each week, I'm ready to do what it takes to bring my writing goals to life.

Being a writer in tech can be a challenge. It’s not often our main role, but an addition to another one. What is the biggest challenge you have when it comes to writing?

Three of the biggest hurdles I face are:

Imposter syndrome - That my write-ups are not good enough to be shared.

Procrastination - Don’t get me started on this one!

Feedback - I struggle a lot in getting proper feedback from my friends and colleagues.

What is the next thing you hope to achieve in your career?

To immerse in the Metaverse and build a product/service that would help to enjoy their time on the web.

As of now, I’m planning to get started in building a text-to-3D engine. That would help game devs and XR designers to build Virtual experiences.

Wow, that’s admirable. Now, something more casual: What is your guilty pleasure of choice?

Sometimes I like reading fictional dramas. Jeffery Archer’s “Only time will tell“ is my guilty pleasure book.

Do you have a non-tech-related hobby? If yes, what is it?

Cricket has to be my first love and my first hobby ever! I like to read a lot and walk. I walk around 8 km a day (5 miles). So yeah, you can call me a book nerd and a walking freak!

What can the Hacker Noon community expect to read from you next?

The community can expect to learn more about Metaverse and AR/VR-oriented tech blogs from me. Except for that, some occasional Finance related posts can also be expected.

What’s your opinion on HackerNoon as a platform for writers?

Wow, let me just start by saying that HackerNoon is hands down the best place for a tech writer! I'm not kidding - I've tried out a bunch of different platforms and social media sites, but I've never felt quite as special as I do when I'm posting my work here.

The team at HackerNoon is absolutely amazing. Their promotion and support of my writing has given me such an incredible boost of confidence in my skills. I mean, I always knew I was a good writer, but now I feel like I can really take things to the next level.

I can't thank the HackerNoon team enough for all of the amazing opportunities they've given me. It's been an absolute pleasure to work with them, and I feel so lucky to be a part of this incredible community.

So, to the whole team over at HackerNoon - thank you, thank you, thank you! You guys are truly the best, and I'm so grateful for everything you do. Here's to many more amazing articles and a bright future ahead.

Love you all! ❤️
