While this template is automatic, our interest in the answers below is genuine and our human editors (and some cyborg wannabes) will review it before publishing.

So let’s start! Tell us a bit about yourself. For example, name, profession, and personal interests.

My name is Temidayo Jacob, and on my social media, I go by the name ‘temidayoxyz’. I'm a freelance tech writer with a passion for exploring the latest advancements in marketing technology, business technology, and health technology.

I have been working in the writing industry for several years now and have a wealth of experience in writing about the latest technology trends and their impact on various industries.

In my free time, I enjoy reading about new technology developments and finding ways to integrate technology into my personal life to make it more efficient and enjoyable.

I also have a passion for entrepreneurship and love to create content that explores the link between creativity and business.

I am highly motivated, a fast learner, and have a strong work ethic. I believe in constantly learning and growing, and I am always seeking new opportunities to expand my skills and knowledge.

I am confident that my passion for technology and writing, combined with my experience and dedication, will make me an asset to any team I work with.

Interesting! What was your latest Hackernoon Top story about?

My latest Hackernoon top story was about the use of automation in web development.

The story, which seems to be my entry for the Hackernoon Web Development Writing Contest, explored the ways in which automation is used to streamline web development processes, and how it threatens human creativity when it should, in fact, be a complementary tool.

I also discussed the benefits and drawbacks that come with the use of automation by developers, including technical and user experience concerns. The article was well-received by the Hackernoon community.

Do you usually write on similar topics? If not, what do you usually write about?

I have a broad range of writing experience and have written on many different topics, but my areas of focus include health technology, marketing technology, and business technology. I enjoy writing about the latest technological advancements and how they impact the health industry.

I also write about the impact of technology on our daily lives, and how it can be used to make things more efficient, accessible, and enjoyable.

I am also interested in writing about marketing strategies and how companies can use technology to better connect with their audience and achieve their goals.

In short, I am flexible and versatile when it comes to writing and am always eager to explore new topics and subject areas.

Great! What is your usual writing routine like (if you have one?)

Whenever I have a new story idea to explore, I usually set aside time for writing, researching, and editing. I brainstorm and outline the idea. Then I focus on writing my first draft with my thoughts and a little research. After this, I come back to refine the draft with better research.

Sometimes, I get more inspiration or things to add to the story whenever I’m working out. In the end, I ensure the story and title are properly edited before publishing it.

Being a writer in tech can be a challenge. It’s not often our main role, but an addition to another one. What is the biggest challenge you have when it comes to writing?

The biggest challenge I face when it comes to writing is staying up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in the industry. The tech industry is constantly evolving, and it can be difficult to keep pace with all the new developments sometimes.

Apart from that, I think I’m pretty good with the complex writing process, critical thinking, research, and analysis.

What is the next thing you hope to achieve in your career?

Well, my goal at the moment is to continue to improve my craft and to remain at the forefront of developments in the technology industry.

I hope to gain a deeper understanding of the technical, social, and cultural implications of new and emerging technologies, and to use this knowledge to create compelling and engaging content that helps to educate and inform my audience.

I also hope to get my stories into bigger platforms that will help my craft reach a bigger and wider audience. Ultimately, I hope to be recognized as a thought leader in my field while making a meaningful contribution to the development of technology globally.

Wow, that’s admirable. Now, something more casual: What is your guilty pleasure of choice?

Well, my guilty pleasure of choice includes binge-watching TV shows, scrolling through Instagram and TikTok to watch funny videos, and spending hours watching football matches.

While these might not align with my personal or professional values, I enjoy these activities as a way to relax and unwind after a long day or week.

Do you have a non-tech-related hobby? If yes, what is it?

A non-tech-related hobby I’ve been pursuing lately is content creation. As mentioned earlier, I am passionate about creativity and business, and this passion has led me into creating content about creative entrepreneurship.

I make podcasts, write newsletters, and create video content that explores creative business, and I publish them on the internet.

This content creation hobby helps me to maintain a healthy work-life balance, to recharge and renew my creative energy, to bring a new level of passion to my writing, to bring new perspectives and ideas to my writing, and develop new skills and knowledge that can be applied to my work.

What can the HackerNoon community expect to read from you next?

I believe the HackerNoon community can expect to read about a range of topics related to technology and innovation in the business, health, and marketing industries.

I will continue to explore the latest technological trends and developments in these industries and will provide engaging, informative, insightful, and thought-provoking analyses of the impact of these trends on global society.

What’s your opinion on HackerNoon as a platform for writers?

It’s simple. Honestly, I love how easy it is to read quality stories that inspire me to write quality stories. I also love how it helps me see how far my content can go when given the right platform.

HackerNoon is really easy to navigate and easy to write on, but how it gives me access to a great audience is something I’m ever thankful for.
