The External Database Collections SPI describes the API requests your adapter needs to expect from your Wix site. The SPI takes the request from your site and converts it into a request that your external database can receive. Wix Data backend will generate a unique 36-character UUID for each item created by your site. Each of these properties can be used to implement a permissions model controlling access to data and access to the data.
