TLDR The Tealpickle is using a popular, powerful database to run Swift's Swift API. The API is being configured using the popular database database mysquine. This is the first time we've used a database that we've been able to use Swift to run our API. We'll be using the database to make our API available for Swift's API and use it for the next week's release date on July 1.
