September in the States was an ideal opportunity for me to promote the first ‘product’ of Startup Macedonia: Launch in Macedonia, the booklet and the details of our #SwissEP Entrepreneur-in-Residence program.
During the three years I have been actively involved in the development of the startup eco-system in Macedonia and now as a #SwissEP manager of Entrepreneurs in Residence (EiR) and Eco-System Facilitator, we have brought in a large number of short term experts and EiRs from the USA to work with our partners (supporting organizations) and startups. Being selected as 1 of 100 Young Transatlantic Innovative Leaders (YTILI) was the prefect addition in strengthening the transatlantic entrepreneurial bridge.
Throughout September 2017 I professionally and privately visited 5 US cities (Washington, DC; Seattle, WA; San Francisco,CA; Las Vegas, NV; Los Angeles, CA) and met many experienced entrepreneurs and young professionals where I was able to promote my country Macedonia as an ideal place for digital nomads and starting a business, but also inviting them to sign up as EiRs and give back to emerging startup communities.
In the Launch in Macedonia booklet you will find useful information on:
Among all the details for the ‘newcomers’ if you want to ‘test out the waters’ in this region, there is all the info about #SwissEP EiR programe that SwissEP is implementing in four Balkan countries: Macedonia; Serbia; Bosnia and Herzegovina; Albania.
