Therefore it's important to scrutinize these narratives before investing in them. In this article, we will look at four crypto narratives that I find exciting and look poised to make major runs this year: Blockchain Modularity Blockchain technology is embracing modularity to overcome limitations and unlock new possibilities. Early blockchains like Bitcoin and Ethereum handle tasks within a single structure, and now, the focus is shifting towards modular architectures that break down blockchains into specialized components. This shift is driven by the need for enhanced scalability, flexibility, and cost-efficiency in meeting the demands of a growing ecosystem. Modular blockchains deconstruct operations into four core components; consensus, execution, settlement, and data availability. This concept —modularity— is permeating both Layer-1 and Layer-2 blockchains.
