Traditional lotteries are run by countries, states, cities, cities and more, but they are still used by many states in the US to raise funds. Lotteries have realized that there is a far more profitable method (profitable for them at least) than traditional ones. In the U.S. only about 63% of the money made through the lottery is paid out in winnings, while 6% is eaten up by administration fees. The most obvious solution to the problem is the use of the blockchain, an immutable and immutable technology, to ensure everyone is playing fair.
