I agree with the statement ethereum is innovation lab. A lot of technologies were invented by ethereum’s teams. I think ethereum is a few steps ahead of everyone else.
I agree with the author's arguments, but I don't agree that Ethereum has no problems. What I see now is the marketing and organisational backwardness of Ethereum.
My question is focused more on holding Ethereum as investment (not generating income through mining, just holding). Verses Bitcoin or say, Litecoin, Ethereum has not been a huge winner for some time. Your thoughts? (BTW, awesome article!)

That’s what I’ve been saying, decentralisation is overlooked often in hype, but start of the bear market we’ll see many of these centralised projects crash and come to $0. I still remember LUNA crash from $200 to worthless. ETH and BTC have better chances of not going to $0.
Comments about Is Ethereum in Trouble? No. So Why Does Everyone Say Otherwise?
The question is what value do centralized blockchains provide? They offer auditability and control. Web 2 had the latter but not the former.
I prefer ETH and decentralization but let’s not pretend there’s no value on the other side of the fence.
