Everyone wants to get control over the events they do not have full control. Parents want the son to get married. Boy wants his girl to spend more time with him. Developer wants a million users. Publisher wants to sell a million copies. We try so hard to control every external event and get crestfallen after we fail. The worse part is we do not learn anything and repeat the same mistake again and again. We have to accept the hard reality that the external events are not under our control. The only thing we can control is our response to those external events. “Forces beyond your control can take away everything you possess except one thing, your freedom to choose how you will respond to the situation.
