GDPR Glossary: You Must Know Data Controller: A Data Controller is the entity that determines the purposes, conditions and means of collecting and processing personal data. So if you are a mobile app developer, or website developer or a business involved in creating app & web involved in user data collection for processing it you are a Data Controller. Data Processor: A Data Processor is an organization that processes personal data on behalf of a data controller. Under GDPR regulation, subjects should have more control over their personal data and companies will have to be transparent on how they use sensitive information.
