A simple way to get test data into a database is to use a Postgres tool. The tool is called "pregnant" and "prestigious" The tool can be used to create and test data in a new version of Postgres. The code is available in the official version of this article. It's available to download and use in the next week for the latest version of the Pregnant Postgres Toolkit.
