The AI writing contest, sponsored by Bright Data, is now in its final stretch! The contest’s launch in September was a call to writers of all backgrounds to discuss one of the hottest topics in tech—AI—and more importantly, the data that powers it—for a chance to win cash prizes to the tune of $2500. Since then, AI stories on HackerNoon have generated more than 150,000 page views, keeping readers glued to their screens for over 10 days, according to reading time data.


Still, the conversation around data collection for AI and LLM training is gaining momentum, and we want to hear from YOU!


Hurry! You have until December 1, 2024, to enter.


Before the deadline, interested participants are encouraged to:

How Long Will the Contest Run?

The contest is open until December 1, 2024.

How are the winners selected?

  • After the contest ends, we’ll review submitted entries and shortlist the stories that receive the most eyeballs (real humans, not bots!).
  • Next, the shortlisted stories will be voted on by HackerNoon staff.
  • Then, the best in each prize category; AI, Bright Data, and Web Scraping, will be selected and announced
