Too Long; Didn't Read

Change Data Capture is a real-time, event-driven way to synchronise source and target data systems. CDC is the process of observing all data changes written to a database and extracting them in a form in which they can be replicated to derived data systems in a reliable and scalable manner. The CDC process has three stages. Watch the database transaction log for changes. The CDC system picks up the changes, delivers the changes to the target system so that that that can be replayed to the destination. CDC system watches the changes and propagates them into the target systems while preserving the change change order.
