As Naseem Taleb described in , most of the frameworks and processes adopted by corporations came as a result of retroactively explaining successful innovations. Those which were theorized in advance, per the scientific method, are continually refined over time. In this respect, is like the belief in intelligent design — an omniscient creator responsible for a single outcome and all of its unexpected ramifications in advance. Whereas — a continual meta-process of rapid experimentation and learning where that which works becomes sticky and has built in resilience over time. Antifragile optimization design thinking is evolution Just as how “doing” is the best way to realize that outcomes are rarely a bipolar distribution of success/failure, “doing” is also the best way to realize that we humans are always in a spectrum between hope and longing, between the future and the past.
