iCandy confirms parts transplant feature to boost crabs’ battle prowess and market value
For those who have yet to start their CryptantCrab collection during its pre-sale, rejoice as the event is given a 40-day extension! The new closing date is on December 25 2018, providing all with more time to jump onto the pre-sale and enjoy the early bird benefits.
Xenograft Process
This announcement coincides with the revelation of a new core features for the blockchain-powered game. Called the Xenograft, it is a new function that improve both the gameplay experience and immediately raises the value of all digital crabs that have been hatched.
Xenograft is a real game-changer for CryptantCrab and will generate additional interest and encourage new players to join the pre-sale and start their digital crab collection. Hence, the need to extend the pre-sale campaign.
Of course, that isn’t the end of it as iCandy Interactive will continue to introduce new features as the game draws ever closer to its launch date. By introducing this critical update, it is clear that CryptantCrab will have more to offer in the coming weeks. This is how the development team is planning to keep things exciting for players, specifically those who have yet to join the pre-sale.
Xenograft: New Avenue for Value
The extension is timely as the roll-out of new these two new features will change the basic gameplay for CryptantCrab. Moreso with Xenograft as that introduces the one thing most have been asking for since the blockchain game’s roadmap came out.
Originally, when the game officially launches, players can only mutate their crabs’ parts if they want to alter the look and battle prowess. The addition of the Xenograft feature adds a new level of customization as it enable players to transplant a specific Crab Part from another virtual crustacean onto the designated CryptantCrab.
With Xenograft being introduced, every crab in each player’s collection has gained even more value. This rings true for those that sport specific parts that are wanted for collection purposes. All the player has to do is graft that targeted part onto a prized crab. This will make it even easier for players to form CryptantCrab sets or create that awesome fighter with a specific balance or focus in statistics. Those that prefer to go down the pure customization route can even create the ultimate looker too!
As for the CryptantCrab that loses its part, it will still retain some value as it turns into a Fossil. While it can’t be sent to battle in this state, the new form can still trade on designated platforms. In fact, its unique characteristics may offer some value in future updates. That means not selling them off so soon!
Growth Capabilities
When the pre-sale opened, many hatched their CryptantCrabs and could see the general stats of their new digital pets. These characteristics are pretty straightforward as they only comprise three aspects: Health Points (HP), Damage per Second), and Block. They represent the base stats for the CryptantCrab and come filled with randomly assigned GP. This is to ensure the crabs are unique and one-of-a-kind.
Please take note: the GP will remain constant even as the CryptantCrab gains experience or level up. Even if mutation occurs or it performs a Xenograft. Instead, the GP will influence how strong the digital crustacean can become as it climbs the experience ladder so crabs with a good mix of Stats will have a higher chance of winning fights.
For those who are keen on starting their own collection of CryptantCrabs, the time is now thanks to the pre-sale extension. More updates — just like the introduction of Xenograft — are likely to come online soon so do keep an eye out for them on the CryptantCrab Facebook and Discord channels.
