SQLite is popping up in many places all of a sudden as hot new tech. While it's nowhere near as hot as AI/ML right now, it is amazing that such an old technology is seeing a renaissance. SQLite is a file-based database that was initially released 23 years ago. I often tell other developers it is the fastest database, but it just doesn't scale off of one server. However, because it is a file, it's extremely easy to use and also includes many advanced features like full-text search and GIS. Because of its ease of use, it is used in many places behind the scenes, such as web browsers, operating systems, embedded applications, and more. So why is SQLite all the rave right now? Below, I'll outline some of the newest SQLite tech with a summary of why you might want to use it. Blockchain Powered Distributed Data SQLite has a few distributed implementations that the Bitcoin Bros would be proud of. The and are consensus protocols that can be used in blockchain-like use cases. In this case, they were implemented with SQLite to create a distributed database. This helps get SQLite off of one machine and onto too many. Because of its distributed nature, the trade-off is that you have slower write performance. However, you gain reliability and availability. So, if you want to distribute your database to multiple machines, try out one of the following: Raft protocol Paxos protocol rqlite SQLite Cloud BedrockDB Usage RQLite, SQLite, and BedrockDB are not a drop-in replacement for SQLite in your application code. RQLite has an HTTP API which you can use and all have client libraries. The client libraries may be a drop-in replacement for SQLite in your application code, but otherwise, you will probably have to do a small lift to convert over to the appropriate client library. Additionally, Bedrock emulates MySQL. So if you can use MySQL in your application, then you can also drop it in BedrockDB. Primarily More Fun with Distributed Data The second class of the distributed SQLite databases I've found on a high level distributes read replicas and passes write operations to a "primary" server without the use of blockchain algorithms. These implementations get you off of one machine with better write performance, in theory than the Raft protocol implementations. Two popular implementations I found are: LiteFS Turso Usage LiteFS as the name applies works more like a file system and is more a drop in replacement for your current SQLite application code. You will need to set up the replication mechanism, but you will not need to change your application code. Turso requires the usage of , which, while compatible with SQLite, will require the usage of a new client library in your application code. So, you will probably need some small tweaks to your application to get it working. Turso also offers an HTTP API. libSQL Durable SQLite There are several solutions that allow you to replicate your SQLite database. While these solutions don't really get you off of one server unless you can configure your application for write operations to one server, they do allow you to persist your database and make it available for read replicas. You'll want to use this method if you are trying to permanently preserve your data off your server or you only need one server that does the write operations and many more that do reading. This may sound similar to the previous implementations but differs because write operations are not transparently handled. It is up to you to solve this. This could be useful in storing structured data for a pipeline or for small applications that only need one server with a way to back up your database. There are several options for this type of solution: LiteStream Verneuil LiteReplica Usage The good thing about this type of solution is that they are often drop-in replacements for your application. You will need to set up the replication mechanism for your application, but your application code will remain the same. Yes, There's More! Yes, there are more SQLite implementations, but I found the ones I listed above to be more complete or easier to use right now. So keep an eye out on the SQLite space because it is moving fast.

SQLite the New Hotness?! 🤔

Today we're happy to announce the open source release of WunderBase, a Serverless Database with a GraphQL API on top of SQLite, Firecracker/Fly machines, and Prisma. It's embarrassingly simple, but powerful, as the codebase is less than 400 lines of Go. WunderBase is built on top of Fly machines, which is a REST API that allows you to run virtual machines in seconds. What's special about machines is that they can sleep when an application exits with a zero exit code. When you send a request to WunderBase, the virtual machine wakes up in about 300-500ms and executes the request. Ten seconds (configurable) after the last request was processed, we send the machine to sleep again. This means that you really only pay for storage and the CPU time you really use, hence the name "Serverless Database". If you'd like to jump right into the code and try WunderBase out for yourself, you can find the . source code on GitHub See WunderBase in action https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_5iJom0cLU&t=2s Why we've built WunderBase We're in the works of building WunderGraph Cloud, applying the principles of Vercel to Backend/API development. We take the most important backend primitives like Authentication & Authorization, Database, Queue, PubSub, Key-Value Store, Cache, etc. and make them available as a single, unified SDK. Git push and 30 seconds later, you've got a fully functional Serverless backend without touching any infrastructure. Make some code changes, open a PR, and get a preview environment with your changes. For this to work, we need a fast and inexpensive way to create and destroy databases. But as you'll see, there are many other use cases for WunderBase than just preview environments. How does WunderBase work? Here's an overview of how WunderBase works: You deploy WunderBase to a Fly machine with a volume attached The Fly machine boots up and starts WunderBase We use the the file to migrate the database using the Prisma Migration Engine prisma.schema Once the migration is done, we create a lock file to prevent future migrations if the file didn't change prisma.schema Finally, we start the Prisma Query Engine to serve the GraphQL API Ten seconds (configurable) after the last request was processed, we exit WunderBase with a zero exit code to indicate to fly that this Machine should go to sleep Request flow: You send a request to WunderBase The Fly machine wakes up in about 300-500ms The fly proxy forwards the request to WunderBase WunderBase sanitizes the request and proxies it to the Prisma Query Engine The Prisma Query Engine executes the request and returns the result WunderBase sends the result back to the client Again, after ten seconds of inactivity, we shut down the Machine Rethinking Serverless with Fly machines When using AWS Lambda, you have to follow certain rules to make your application compatible with the environment. E.g. when you're using Golang, you have to export a function that takes a and the name of the event. Also, you don't really have much control over the environment your application runs in. At some point, the Lambda runtime will shut down your application. Handler context.Context With Fly machines, we can operate at a much lower level. We create a Docker container that listens on a specific port. We tell fly to run this container and send all requests to this port. If we think the Machine should sleep, we exit the container with a zero exit code. Fly will keep our volume around and start the container again when we send a request. A lot of applications are written in a Serverful single-tenant way would usually be quite expensive to run as a multi-tenant service. With Fly machines, we can run these applications in a very cost-efficient way. However, there's a catch. We have to optimize the application for fast startup and shutdown. I know that fly is working on allowing machines to "sleep" and "resume", just like closing and re-opening a laptop. This would allow us to run applications that are not optimized for fast startup and shutdown. In the meantime, we've built WunderBase in a way to optimize for fast startup and shutdown times. Optimizations to reduce cold start and shutdown times When a request is waiting to be served, we need to make sure that the Machine starts up as fast as possible. At the same time, we always want to keep the database schema in sync with the file. If we ran a migration every time the Machine starts up, we would have to wait for the migration to finish before we can serve the request. That's not ideal, so we've optimized this path. prisma.schema When the Machine starts up, we hash the file and check if there's a lock file with the same hash. If there's a lock file, we compare the content of the lock file with the hash of the file. If they are the same, we know that the migration for this schema has already been executed. If there's no lock file, we run a migration and create a lock file with the hash of the file. prisma.schema prisma.schema prisma.schema We store the lock file in the volume, so it's available even if the Machine was sleeping. Next, we needed to make sure that the Prisma Query Engine shuts down properly. We start the Prisma Query Engine as a separate process. Before we kill the main process, we send a signal to the Prisma Query Engine. If we would immediately kill the main process, the sub-process would keep the Machine from shutting down for a few more seconds. Instead, we're using a to wait for the Prisma Query Engine to shut down before we exit the main process. This way, we've reduced the shutdown time from 5-10 seconds to 1-2 seconds. SIGTERM sync.WaitGroup If we didn't do this, you'd have to wait up to 10 seconds when sending a request to WunderBase while it's shutting down. How does WunderBase compare to other Serverless Databases like DynamoDB, CockroachDB, MongoDB, FaunaDB, Planetscale or Neon? We can have long debates about what Serverless really is or if the term actually makes sense. After all, there are still servers involved. To me, Serverless means that you don't have to worry about the infrastructure and that you only pay for what you really use. For a long time, Serverless was mostly about functions. You write a function, deploy it, and you're done. Someone else takes care of the infrastructure and you only pay per request. Then came a new wave of Serverless offerings that give you a "Serverless Database". You write a schema, deploy it, and you're done. But are these really Serverless? From a user perspective, yes. From a technical perspective, no. Most databases still are "Serverful" in the sense that the database server is always running. Some solutions, like Neon, try to solve this problem by separating the compute and storage layer. Others, like CockroachDB or Mongo put a proxy in front of the database so that you can "imitate" a Serverless Database. In contrast, the storage layer of WunderBase is always "sleeping", because it's just a file. SQLite is probably the only real Serverless database because it's just a file. The Serverful part of WunderBase is the proxy that runs the Prisma Query Engine and translates between GraphQL and SQL. But as we've discussed earlier, we can send this proxy to sleep and wake it up again when we need it. Another important aspect of WunderBase is that it's actually quite simple and very transparent what's going on. We've got a proxy that translates between GraphQL and SQL, and we have a SQLite database / file on a volume. I've told one of my Co-Founders that I'm a bit embarrassed to release WunderBase because it's so simple and just a few hundred lines of code. He answered that it's not embarrassing at all, because it's actually quite impressive that we've managed to build something that's so simple and yet so powerful. And he's right! Sometimes you combine the right ingredients in the right way and achieve something that took others years to build. It took me just a few hours to build WunderBase. The most time-consuming part was to write proper tests and this blog post. What are the use cases for WunderBase? You might be thinking that WunderBase is just a toy project. We're definitely not going to compete with the big players in the Serverless Database space. Instead, we're looking at serving use cases that others are unable to serve. I'll give you a few examples: It takes seconds to create a new WunderBase instance. You can use it for a quick prototype or to test something out. For each branch you deploy, you can have a separate WunderBase instance that's isolated from the main branch/database. A lot of applications don't ever store more than a few gigabytes of data and have very little traffic. WunderBase is perfect for these use cases. One use case that excites me the most is that you can "shard" at the database layer. What this means is that you can have a single database model that's shared across multiple databases. You can have one database per user, tenant, or any other key and route traffic to the correct database based on the user's (tenant's) ID. If you have a customer with a lot of data, you can easily put them on a separate database. If each customer has their own database, you can do point in time recovery for each customer individually. Another interesting use case is OLAP. Let's say we'd like to analyze terabytes of data in seconds. We can shard the data across multiple databases and run a query on each database in parallel. We can then aggregate the results and return them to the user. While we're not serving any requests, we can shut down the databases. This way, we're only really paying for the storage and compute that we're using. This could be an Open Source alternative to BigQuery. How fast is WunderBase? I've done some benchmarking and was able to achieve 2k write requests per second and 10k read requests per second. There's a benchmark script in the WunderBase repository that you can use to run your own benchmarks. Make sure to set the rate limit environment variables properly to not get rate-limited. During my testing I've realized that 2k/10k is the maximum that I can achieve before getting Timeout errors, so I've added some rate limiting to the proxy to keep everything stable. How can you scale WunderBase? There are multiple ways to scale WunderBase. We can add read replicas to scale reads. There's tooling to replicate SQLite databases, both locally or even remotely. So we could have a master database and read replicas in different regions. Another way to scale WunderBase is to have multiple master databases. With this approach, we can scale writes based on a key like the user ID or tenant ID.If you've got users all over the world, you can combine both approaches to optimize for latency. Can you easily migrate from WunderBase to a different database? Another question you might ask is if you're able to migrate from SQLite to e.g. PostgreSQL or MySQL. The answer is yes and it's actually quite easy. As we're using Prisma, we can just change the in the block in the file. If we're using the same Schema, Prisma will give us the same GraphQL API, even if we're using a different database. So it's possible to switch from SQLite to MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLServer or even Planetscale. provider datasource prisma.schema How can you backup WunderBase? Backups can be implemented e.g. by leveraging LiteStream, a tool that streams the changes from a SQLite database to S3. Caveats There's one caveat that you should be aware of. The GraphQL API that WunderBase (Prisma Query Engine) exposes is not intended to be publicly exposed. You should always put a in front of it. GraphQL API Gateway like WunderGraph It's perfectly fine to use GraphQL as the ORM layer, but this API is not intended to be consumed by clients in the browser directly. Additionally, Prisma Query Engine is only exposing a subset of GraphQL, e.g. you cannot use variable definitions. We've done some extra steps in WunderGraph to make it compatible with GraphQL, like writing a "variable definition inliner" to automatically inline variable definitions and make the GraphQL Operation compatible with the Prisma Engine. I'll follow up with a blog post about this topic as it was actually quite interesting to reverse engineer the Prisma Query Engine and make all of this work together. Thank you Prisma! All of this wouldn't have been possible without the amazing work that the Prisma team has done. Besides the 400 lines of glue code that I've written, the rest is just Prisma. I also know that this is not the intended use case of Prisma. Nikolas Burk keeps reminding me that Prisma is an ORM and the GraphQL layer of the Prisma Query Engine is an internal detail. Prisma generates a client library on top of this Engine which uses GraphQL internally. I personally think that it's much more powerful to expose the GraphQL API directly. This way, I'm able to multiple APIs together easily and talk to all my services with a single language. join So, thank you and sorry for abusing your product! Open Source is awesome! =) The future of Firecracker-based Applications I'm very excited about the future of Firecracker-based applications. I'm pretty sure that this paradigm will allow us to build or re-build a lot of applications in a more efficient way, like Serverless Databases, Serverless Caches, Serverless Queues, Serverless Search Engines, etc. What's next? Our goal for WunderGraph is to create a TypeScript Framework that allows you to build Serverless Applications in a very simple way. From databases to file storage, queues, pub/sub, key-value, and caching. We want to provide a unified SDK that allows you to focus on the code, not on the infrastructure. WunderBase - Serverless GraphQL Database on Top of SQLite, Firecracker and Prisma

We’re almost six months into the grand experiment that is TikTok’s native shopping feature, and if you ask them, the platform is re-inventing e-commerce. According to reports, TikTok sold $7 million in gross merchandise volume in a single day, more than 5 million new users made a purchase during Black Friday and Cyber Monday in November, and they believe they’ll generate as much as $17.5 billion this year in the United States. The way they tell it, TikTok is the channel that has finally cracked the code for live-stream e-commerce in the United States. There’s only one problem: have you noticed that shoppable commerce has made TikTok a whole lot less interesting and fun? Despite clear best practices for live-stream hosts, many TikTok creators have, in a race for riches, taken to peddling low-quality beauty products, cheap electronics, and fast fashion, to the point where creators have over-indexed. No longer is my TikTok feed interesting, creative, and engaging: instead, it’s full of people telling me I “just to try this product.” have It’s a failure that’s tough to figure out as TikTok has earned praise for the strength of its “for you” algorithm. In years of personal use, I never felt my algorithm was off-kilter until management had an incentive to push TikTok Shop in front of as many eyeballs as possible. The pressure to perform as an e-commerce channel is evident in its performance: the numbers don’t lie. When TikTok Shop Partner and social commerce expert Ethan Kramer selling more than $102,000 in a single live sale, he pulled back the curtain on some numbers that don’t tell such a peachy story below the surface. posted about his success His single-stream effort involved 9 hours of continuous content during which time he converted a whopping 2.8 million viewers into a mere 1,300 buyers: a conversion rate of 0.00046%, a fraction of the typical e-commerce shop conversion of 2-4%. And that was done with the assistance of TikTok, who promoted the feed and picked up the tab on the discounts the seller ran during the sale. Despite some flashy numbers and the fact that TikTok thinks it will double the size of the live-shop e-commerce market in the United States this year, it just isn’t working that well. And the reason is simple: users come to TikTok for entertainment, not to shop. State of Mind Is a Key Driver of E-Commerce Success “Mood to buy” describes the psychological state of a consumer that makes them more inclined to make a purchase, like when shoppers are more likely to make a purchase because they’re in a positive mood, have a specific need, or are motivated by an external factor. Much of advertising and marketing strategy is built to address these underlying motivators and drive the consumer to take an action or make a purchase. An important contributor to “mood to buy” is the shopping environment, whether that’s online or offline. In an offline shopping environment, there have been countless dollars and hours spent considering how store layout, music, and lighting can move a person to make a purchasing decision. The same is true online, especially in the area of user experience design. Countless millions are spent each year optimizing websites for fractions-of-a-percent improvements in conversion, testing well beyond copy, down to how weather intersects with the shape, size, or placement of a button. Given how things are shaking out with the TikTok Shop experience, including how it and the performance metrics look, it seems end-users may be signaling that they’re on TikTok to hang out, not buy workout supplements or fast fashion. feels This could be the single thing that proves insurmountable for TikTok in their American e-commerce effort, and it’s easy to imagine this becoming the latest in a long series of high-profile failures in the area of shoppable video, following in the footsteps of Amazon and Meta. Amazon and Meta’s challenges in this area are many, including a general lack of consumer awareness and their deep-rooted associations with traditional e-commerce experiences. Changing consumer shopping habits within the context of their own apps and websites is a challenging task, especially when you consider Meta’s position in no-commerce social. Andrew Conti, Founder & CEO of Reactive Live Shopping, which is a , has a clear read on big tech’s struggle: “Socials primarily drive engagement for those platforms; increasing comments, likes, and follows for the influencer and, frustratingly, isn’t focused on sales for the brand.” platform-agnostic livestream e-commerce platform Conti continued, “In a performance, the same line that makes a crowd erupt with laughter will cause crickets if used at the wrong moment. We’re seeing this with social commerce, where the same content will perform dramatically better on a merchant’s site than on socials. What’s the difference? We believe it's context and timing.” This is an insight that has been universally true throughout the history of commerce: just ask producers of winter jackets how their sales numbers look on an August afternoon in Manhattan. But in this modern environment of optimization, that context seems to have been lost. In other words, the narrative that live-stream e-commerce is struggling is misinformed. Where There’s Smoke, There’s Fire: Hope for Live-Streaming E-Commerce This provides hope for livestream e-commerce, though it does change the shape of the conversation. Conti’s platform is finding wins in fashion and beauty, areas where TikTok and Meta have struggled to find traction. There has been great success in collectibles and trading cards, too. Drip Shop, a , has “grown double-digits last year, with sports cards growing by over four times” according to Co-Founder and CEO Javaughn Lawrence. And Drip Shop is not alone. livestream e-commerce app that focuses on sports and trading card games I spoke with the leaders of several competitors who focus on trading cards, all of whom shared some growth stories that may surprise given Fanatics (owner of trading card producer Topps) launched their own live-stream shopping platform. Consensus is the entrant of a well-funded industry leader has exposed many new customers to the concept, validated the vertical, and the rising tide has lifted all ships. One of the largest contributors to the success of live-stream e-commerce in trading cards is the personal touch. Live streams often involve hosts who are passionate about the product and don’t just limit the conversation to the cardboard in front of them: they talk sports and generally, well, socialize. In an online environment where attention is impossible to capture for any meaningful amount of time, engagement and attention-share on these streams are through the roof. And that’s because there’s clearly an appetite for this shopping experience. The livestream e-commerce experience is far more natural than many other e-commerce user experiences, as evidenced by the decades of success of QVC. Live stream commerce has a clear place in your list of DTC e-commerce strategies, especially if you consider the fact that the content produced during such an effort can be repurposed to feed your social media content outside of the sale as well. What has become clear in 2024 is that the problem is not the format or the message, it’s the “when.” And as the livestream platforms come to accept that they cannot force the elusive “mood to buy,” the tide will continue to rise.

Americans Are Starting to Figure Out Livestream Commerce, and It Is Good

Live-stream shopping is an interactive e-commerce experience where a host or influencer showcases products on camera, much like QVC popularized in the 1980s and 90s. The modern twist, of course, is that viewers can ask questions, interact, and complete a transaction without leaving the video stream. This is a mainstream experience in China and has been for years, where live-stream shopping accounted for nearly in 2022. 20 percent of all e-commerce When venture capitalists and big tech firms jumped at the opportunity to fund efforts in the United States, there was an initial push to replicate the Chinese market where one player, Alibaba’s Taobao Live, accounts for around of the segment’s gross merchandise volume. 80 percent Failed Attempts Attempts by Meta, which took place on both Facebook and Instagram, fell flat due to a struggle to capture user attention for longer-form commerce content. Live-stream shopping was on Facebook in October and on Instagram in March. shut down Amazon, which quietly launched Amazon Live, has for the platform which is a nice way of saying brands aren't sure if they can trust strangers live-streaming their products. struggled to get brand buy-in A bevy of startups has come (and already gone) in an effort to become the American Taobao. Based on platform reviews and fundraising activity, it’s clear the streaming platforms that have found traction have done so by narrowing the scope of their product offerings. Consider, for example, that three companies focused on trading cards and collectibles have raised more than $500 million. And it’s not just fundraising: , , and have done enough to attract the attention of Topps parent company Fanatics which the Fanatics Live streaming platform in the second half of 2023. An Introduction to Livestream Shopping

….very few people. Probably nobody. Last year was my . I streamed pretty much everything. I even at a live streaming company. But as time went on, this realization hit me: “This isn’t super fun all the time. People really don’t (and shouldn’t) care about my daily life.” At least not the people who would watch me on Meerkat. livestreaming life got a job Let me say this though — I am to all those who watched, supported, commented, liked & retweeted last year. Whether it was an early morning coding session, a Product Hunt review or a 24 hour meerathon, you were there, you were (mostly) nice and you were helpful. I appreciate every single one of you. SO GRATEFUL Being LIVE is not a natural state of being for most people. Mobile live streaming in the broadcaster & audience (one-to-many) paradigm is simply not sustainable as a standalone business or platform. As a feature to an existing network, it makes sense (but barely). I spent many months analyzing data for Meerkat; the users were as ephemeral as the streams they created. Thinking about why, leads to one very important question. Why are you streaming? 1) You’re famous and trying to “connect” with your fans This one is easy. You go to with the platform that has your biggest audience built in. You want the best integration with that platform. Your live streams are now just another form of content that goes into your presence on that platform. 2) You’re trying to get famous Sorry, nobody is going to get famous livestreaming. You’re going to go where there’s a real valuable replay capability and easy native sharability. But your content is going to be geared not towards live interactivity that LIVE is good for, because that doesn’t replay well. You’re basically just live-recording your youtube uploads. You’ll realize that this is a lot of work and a lot lower quality… so you’ll stop and focus on post-production. The argument can be made here about how YouTubers, Viners, Snapchatters etc… become famous, so why won’t live streamers? The answer in my opinion, is all about the medium. Discoverability and sharability of live HAPPENING NOW moments is just not feasible for mass consumption. It is exactly the inherent asynchronous & distributed consumption of those other platforms that can lead people to become famous. LIVE doesn’t have this, and realistically, I believe never can. 3) You’re trying to get paid Again, super easy — who is PAYING broadcasters? The answer was NEVER Meerkat. This is something I’m super proud of. Live streams are a part of a package a brand can buy, in addition to other social posts, mentions etc... Not standalone, you have to have a presence elsewhere. There’s also YouNow, for (primarily) younger streamers. When fans can directly support broadcasters, there is a direct incentive to stream and a barometer for what your audience thinks is valuable content. 4) You’re looking for “community” I do believe that there was a genuine closeness of broadcasters and watchers in the very early days of Meerkat. But I don’t know that many people showed up (as streamers or watchers) to be a part of some newfound community. Streaming about your interests can certainly help you attract like-minded people, and community can form… But is live streaming the right vehicle for this? Is it not better suited as an extension of an existing community of friends/strangers? 5) You’re into marketing (self-promotion) This is the big one. The one I personally dislike the most. People who hop from platform to platform hocking their “services” and trying to become (be thought of as) experts. They espouse “rules” and “wisdom” and it’s pretty awful. Just because you were there first, does NOT make you an expert. 6) Teleportation Streams This is where most streams are heading, and where livestreaming has always flourished. It’s teleportation. It’s streaming a conference, an event, a one-off thing that gives the watcher a feeling like they’re there, but is limited on the interactivity and spontaneity that made the early days of Meerkat fun. Brands will continue to see value from this, and it’s a great way for the #5 people to “prove” their livestreaming prowess. 7) Livestreaming is fun This is the one that got me. It was a ton of fun. But the emphasis is on “was” — it gets real old, real fast. BUT even from the beginning I always asked why people were watching. These people are the hardest to retain: if fun relies on viewership, then streamers have to have an audience, but why should people watch this average joe? It’s really a chicken-and-egg problem and the people won’t come back to stream (or watch) again. How does one turn entertaining voyeurism into long term value? Be together, but apart. Live video has this amazing potential to bring people together. But it doesn’t and cannot start with “I want to talk to anybody” — in order to build a comfortable, understandable medium, it must begin with “I want to talk to the people I know.” The movement away from being LIVE may seem small, but it’s monumental. There’s something else — a shift from “me” to “we” as in, not just me alone on screen… but we are together, video of equal importance for all in the conversation. The “Me” to “We” transition is both imperative and counterintuitive in the transformation from a public to private medium. Before anyone compares to Skype, or Hangouts, or Oovoo or anything that’s been around for years… Use the product. Please. It’s a drastically different experience that makes a conversation a fluid experience. Blurry lines between beginning and ending… Like at a party, you can walk up to someone, say hey and walk away… there’s no commitment, there’s no formality to it. It’s not a meeting, it’s a conversation. Houseparty But you work there I do!
