Let us first start with the simplest case discussed in 2. To describe multiverse, we need multiple Karch-Randall branes located at r = ±nρ such that bulk metric should satisfy Neumann boundary condition at the aforementioned locations. Extrinsic curvature on the Karch-Randall brane and its trace is computed as: Three descriptions of our setup are as follows: • d-dimensional boundary conformal field theory with (d − 1)- dimensional boundary. Boundary description: • All 2n gravitating systems are connected at the interface point by transparent boundary condition. Intermediate description: • Einstein gravity in the (d + 1)-dimensional bulk. Bulk description: We see that in the intermediate description, there is a transparent boundary condition at the defect; therefore multiverse constructed in this setup consists of communicative universes localized on Karch-Randall branes (see Figs. 2,3). Wedge holography dictionary for “multiverse” with 2n AdS branes can be stated as follows. 3.2 de-Sitter Background In this subsection, we study the realization of the multiverse in such a way that the geometry of Karch-Randall branes is of de-Sitter spacetime. Wedge holography with de-Sitter metric on Karch-Randall branes was discussed in [42] where the bulk spacetime is AdS spacetime and in [52] with flat space bulk metric. Before going into the details of construction of “multiverse” with de-Sitter geometry on Karch-Randall branes, first let us summarise some key points of [52]. Authors in [52] constructed wedge holography in (d + 1)-dimensional flat spacetime with Lorentzian signature. Karch-Randall branes in their construction have either geometry of d dimensional hyperbolic space or de-Sitter space. Since our interest lies in the de-Sitter space therefore we only discuss the results related to the same. Geometry of the defect is S d−1 . Wedge holography states that Third line in the above duality is coming from dS/CFT correspondence [53, 54]. Authors in [52] explicitly calculated the central charge of dual CFT which was imaginary and hence CFT living at the defect is non-unitary. The above discussion also applies to the AdS bulk as well. In this case one can state the wedge holographic dictionary as: branes are obtained as: • d-dimensional BCFT with (d − 1)-dimensional defect. Boundary description: • 2n gravitating systems with de-Sitter geometry connected to each other at the (d − 1)-dimensional defect. Intermediate description: • (d + 1)-dimensional Einstein gravity with negative cosmological constant in the bulk. Bulk description: First and third description are related to each other via AdS/BCFT correspondence and (d−1)- dimensional defect which is non-unitary CFT exists because of dS/CFT correspondence [53, 54]. de-Sitter space exists for finite time and then disappear. Another de-Sitter space born after the disappearance of previous one [55]. Therefore it is possible to have a “multiverse” (say M1) with de-Sitter branes provided all of them should be created at the same “creation time” [7] but this will exist for finite time and then M1 disappears. After disappearance of M1, other multiverse (say M2) consists of many de-Sitter branes born with same creation of time of all the de-Sitter branes. 3.3 Braneworld Consists of Anti de-Sitter and de-Sitter Spacetimes In this subsection, we have discussed the embedding of different types of Karch-Randall branes in the different bulks which are disconnected from each other. Authors in [55] have discussed the various possibilities of embedding of different types of branes, e.g., Minkowski, de-Sitter and anti de-Sitter branes in the same bulk. Existence of various branes are characterized by creation time τ∗. There is finite amount of time for which Minkowski and de-Sitter branes born and there is no cration time for anti de-Sitter branes. Out of various possibilities discussed in [55], it was pointed by authors that one can see Minkowski, de-Sitter and anti de-Sitter brane at the same time with creation time τ∗ = −π/2 in a specific bulk. In this case, branes have time dependent position. First we will summarise this result [10] and then comment on the realization of the same from wedge holography. Bulk AdS5 metric has the following form: One can construct doubly holographic setup from (19) using the idea of AdS/BCFT. Let us state the three possible descriptions of doubly holographic setup constructed from (19). Comment on the Wedge Holographic Realization of Mismatched Branes: • 4D quantum field theory (QFT) at conformal boundary of (19). Boundary description: • Dynamical gravity localized on 4D end-of-the-world brane coupled to 4D boundary QFT. Intermediate description: • 4D QFT defined in the first description has 5D gravity dual whose metric is (19). Bulk description: Due to covariant nature of AdS/CFT duality it remains the same if one works with the changed coordinates in the bulk i.e. different parametrisations of AdS does not imply different dualities [11] and therefore in the above doubly holographic setup, we expect defect to be 3-dimensional conformal field theory because 4-dimensional gravity is just FRW parametrization of AdS4 spacetime (20). Relationship between boundary and bulk description is due to AdS/CFT correspondence, in particular, this kind of duality was studied in [56] where bulk is de-Sitter parametrization of AdS4 and conformal field theory is QFT on dS3. As discussed in detail in appendix of [55] and summarised in this subsection that one can also have de-Sitter and Minkowski branes in this particular coordinate system (19). If one works with de-Sitter metric (21) on end-of-the-world brane then we expect defect CFT to be non-unitary. Due to dynamical nature of gravity on Karch-Randall brane, holographic dictionary is not well understood in the braneworld scenario. A Now let us discuss what is the issue in describing wedge holography with “mismatched branes”. Wedge holography has “defect CFT” which comes due to dynamical gravity on Karch-Randall branes. Suppose we have two Karch-Randall branes with different geometry, one of them is AdS brane and the other one is de-Sitter brane. Then due to AdS brane, defect CFT should be unitary and due to de-Sitter brane, defect CFT should be non-unitary. It seems that we have two different CFTs at the same defect. This situation will not change even one considers four branes or in general 2n branes. Hence, one may not be able to describe “multiverse” with mismatched branes from wedge holography. That was just an assumption. Common boundary of multiverses M1 and M2 (described in Fig. 5) can’t be the same even when geometry is (19) due to “time-dependent” position of branes. All the AdS branes in M1 can communicate with each other via transparent boundary conditions at the defect and similarly all the de-Sitter branes in M2 are able to communicate with each other. But there is no communication between M1 and M2 even in (19). Therefore we conclude that we can create multiverse of same branes(AdS or de-Sitter) but not the mixture of two. Hence issue of mismatched branes do not alter from wedge holography perspective too. Multiverse of AdS branes exists forever whereas multiverse of de-Sitter branes has finite lifetime [12] . [3] It seems that some of branes have negative tension. Let us discuss the case when branes are located at −nρ1 and nρ2 with ρ1 6= ρ2. In this case tensions of branes are (d − 1) tanh(−nρ1) and (d − 1) tanh(nρ2). Negative tension issue can be resolved when we consider ρ1 < 0 and ρ2 > 0 similar to [48]. Therefore this fixes the brains stability issue in our setup. This discussion is also applicable to the case when ρ1 = ρ2. [4] When we discuss multiverse then α and β will take 2n values whereas when we discuss wedge holography then α, β = 1, 2 [5] Explicit derivation of (14) was done in [42] for two Karch-Randall branes. Future of Health: Hologram Sciences’ Ian Brady's Leading Role in Gen AI and Precision Nutrition

The information age is upon us. Hordes of satellites circle the earth, underwater cables travel the ocean floors, communication masts tower above various communities, and all these advanced infrastructure work together to drive popular handheld mobile devices commonly used by people around the world to connect. The World Is Now a Global Village. However impressive this hardware infrastructure is though, it won’t work properly unless programming languages are used to tie low-level functionalities together and present users with easy-to-use software they can interact with. Building such software for mobile devices is known as mobile development, and it can be quite complicated, hence a big part of the process is debugging, i.e., correcting errors in code. Mobile debugging has become a well-established field over time. However, innovation marches on, and a number of emerging technologies will potentially transform the field in radical ways. These technologies include Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, Blockchain, and Hologram technology. This article explores the potential impacts of these four emerging technologies on mobile debugging to present ideas for innovation and help developers prepare for the future. Impacts of AI, VR, Blockchain, and Hologram on mobile debugging: Artificial intelligence (AI) has already had a big impact on software development, and it has a lot of potential for mobile debugging. Debugging tools with AI capabilities can already analyze code on their own, find flaws, and even offer potential fixes. 1. AI-Driven Debugging: AI-powered tools can utilize machine learning techniques to continually learn from previous debugging experiences which increases their accuracy and productivity over time. By relying on AI to automate the debugging process, developers can save significant time and effort while focusing on more difficult tasks and increasing productivity. Imagine an automated debugging process. The advent of virtual reality (VR) technology offers developers immersive and interactive debugging environments, which have the potential to transform mobile debugging. 2. This will facilitate the sharing of knowledge (e.g., in an industry) as less skilled developers can easily follow the debugging process of more advanced developers and improve their skills. Also, blockchain can improve security by avoiding illegal code modification, e.g., transparent coding environments could prevent advanced developers from leveraging the knowledge gap between them and the owners of software to create illegal backdoors in the code. Previously considered the stuff of science fiction, hologram technology is rapidly becoming a reality. The Future Unveiled: Mobile Debugging in the Age of AI, VR, Blockchain, and Hologram Technology

This is the first piece in a series on developing XR applications and experiences using Oracle Database and Hololens for the Metaverse. Here, explore Spatial, AI/ML, Kubernetes, and OpenTelemetry. This is the first piece in a series on developing XR applications and experiences using Oracle.  Specifically, I will show applications running with the following: Oracle database and cloud technologies Hololens 2 (Microsoft Mixed Reality Headset) MRTK (Mixed Reality Toolkit) APIs (v2.7.2) Unity (v2021.1.20f) platform (leading software for creating and operating interactive, real-time 3D content) Throughout the blog, I will reference a corresponding workshop: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBaQ8ohI80E Extended Reality (XR) and HoloLens XR (extended reality) is the umbrella term for VR, AR, and MR.  The fourth evolution, metaverse (omniverse, etc.), or mesh, essentially refers to one extent or another and the inevitable integration of XR into the everyday, analogous to how smartphones are today. While the concepts shown can be applied to one extent or another in different flavors of XR and devices, the focus is on what will be the most common and everyday usage of XR in the future: the eventual existence of XR glasses.  This being the case, the HoloLens is used for developing and demonstrating, as it is the most advanced technology that exists currently to that end.  The HoloLens presents holograms and sounds spatially to the wearer/user who can interact with them via hands, speech, and eye gaze. There is much more to the HoloLens than this basic definition, of course, and much more ahead in this space in general. The XR Hololens application(s) is developed using the MRTK, which provides an extensive array of APIs that are portable across devices. This is of course to a varying degree depending on the nature and capability of the device but, is in line with Apple ARKit, Google ARCore, etc. It is also forward-looking such that it will be applicable to future devices (glasses, etc.) from other vendors such as Apple and others. Demonstrations I will start the series by demonstrating an XR version of a popular Oracle LiveLabs workshop “ ." It demonstrates a number of different areas of modern app dev, as well as DevSecOps, including Kubernetes, microservices and related data patterns, Spatial, Maps, AI/ML/OML, Observability (in particular tracing), basic Graph, etc. Simplify Microservices with converged Oracle Database Future installments of this series will continue to give examples and explain XR-enablement of Oracle Database functionality such as Graph, IoT, Event Mesh, Sagas, ML, Unified Observability, Chaos testing, and more. Additionally, future installments will address industry use cases as well as Oracle AI cloud offerings such as computer vision, speech recognition, and text semantics that work in tandem with the database. At the same time, I will show more aspects and use cases of XR/MR with these services. Video 1:  “GrabDish” (Online Store/Food Delivery) Frontend The microservices workshop and the XR version of it use a “GrabDish” food delivery service application to show the concepts mentioned. The video and this blog are broken into two demos: I will list the Oracle technologies used, followed by the MRTK/Hololens that use them. Unity is the development tool that brings these two together (Unreal Engine is an alternative). Food options (sushi, burger, pizza) are shown as 3d images. These images are loaded from the cloud object store via the Oracle database that fronts them. Users can select all objects with either hand, voice/speech, or eye-gaze (simply by staring at it). Users can then bring the object closer to them by making a hand gesture or saying "come to me" and once the image is close can rotate it by simply staring at one side or another, or can grab it and move it in this way. Once the food is selected, a suggestive sale for a drink is generated via AI/ML/OML (in the original workshop this is a food and wine pairing and in the XR version this is a tea pairing for the sushi selected). "Dwell" refers to a prolonged eye-gaze at a particular location. This is demonstrated when the user dwells their eye-gaze on a tea, and as a result, hears the name of the tea spoken. This audio is also retrieved via the database. The items selected for the order are placed on a new MRTK resource called a dock. This is a very useful construct (serving a container and categorization mechanism) that allows a number of items to be placed on it and resized such that all fit. A dwell button with volumetric UI is then selected to place the order. The order is inserted into the Oracle database in JSON format and the appropriate inventory is reduced using relational SQL. This demonstrates two of the many data types supported by the Oracle converged database. Another data model supported in the database is spatial. This is demonstrated when the "Deliver Order" button is selected. The restaurant and delivery addresses (in this case, Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia) are sent to the Oracle spatial cloud service backed by the Oracle database where a routing API is used to GeoCode the driving path between the two addresses and return the result as GeoJSON. This is then fed to the Map API (Google, BingMaps, Mapbox, etc.), where it is plotted on a 3D map. A car follows this ray trace between points in the 3D map in the HoloLens. Again, this map can be manipulated via hand, speech, and eye-gaze. These data types can be accessed in the Oracle database via any number of languages and also via REST endpoints. Video 2:  "GrabDish" DevOps (Kubernetes, Health Probes, Tracing/OpenTelemetry, etc.) A 3D visual representation of a live Kubernetes cluster and its related resources including namespaces, deployments, pods (fronted/dispatch to by services), etc. is shown in the same hierarchical relationship as the in Kubernetes, and resources/objects can be grabbed, rotated, moved, and scaled, etc. in a relational and proportionate manner. The tags for these resources re-orient themselves so that they are always facing the user. Because the HoloLens is constantly spatially mapping the mesh of the environment, the placement of the objects remains consistent even across restarts. This can, of course, be extended to incorporate remote and GPS aspects and the mesh can be shared for digital double, remote placement (eg advanced remote assist, etc.) use cases. Each pod has a menu with various options/actions, including the ability to select and view that pod’s logs. The logs can be read either by scrolling with the hand or by simply reading them as eye-tracking is used to scroll and advance the page. The original workshop is opened in a browser in order to set the health advertised by the Order service to "down". This is done to trigger the Kubernetes health probes to restart the service. This is reflected in the XR application by the pod turning red in color and an audible alert about the health status. The sound is also spatially mapped. The source is the pod object so that if the pod is across the room, the sound comes from across the room. Visual tracing is then demonstrated by placing an order. OpenTracing/OpenTelemetry is used to trace the flow of information through this system. This is translated and mapped to the visual representation of the Kubernetes objects and database involved. Specific order and saga tags are selected in order to identify and particular trace and these labels can be visually observed flowing through the graph of nodes. This of course has greater potential in graph analytics.
