The bitter experiences that came from CMS or any predefined structures are the repulsive causes of those apps like this. However, this app is neither a CMS nor a framework. It's also a tool to create a predefined structure based on the NodeJS runtime by using automation, which makes your work as easy as possible. This control panel has nothing special except some simple processes like creating and deleting users or setting permissions for them. This GUI has been designed based on ReactJS. This app is free and will remain free. Enterprise plans will be added later. If the free plan remains with these features, I think it’s worthless. However, this app is designed for corporations, but I think it has a long way to go to satisfy the developers. First, ask a simple question yourself: What can I do with Amplication that I can't do with other frameworks and tools? The answer is a little bitter: “Nothing”. How much is Amplication supposed to accelerate the product development process? For a middle-level developer, it might be helpful in designing database structures, but for senior developers, I doubt it will be of much use. We’ve already discussed the importance of cybersecurity in 2020, and Blockchain’s ability to keep sensitive records secure means that the technology can provide users with an unparalleled level of privacy online. Assets can seamlessly be traced back to their origin using Blockchain, which is a great tool for traditional assets, but foresees the technology having the ability to trace food-based illnesses back to the original supplier too. It can also act as an automatic middleman when multiple parties wish to strike a trade deal with each other without the need for a centralised authority. Gartner The key and cutting-edge appeals of blockchain comes from its shared and distributed ledger, encryption capabilities, tokenisation and its distributed public consensus mechanism - which makes its records extremely difficult to hack into. Today, there are fears that the powerful new technology is still too far into its infancy for practical usage on a broad scale, but 2020 looks set to be the year where we see Blockchain beginning to find practical applications away from the chaotic world of crypto-assets. Practicality in cryptocurrencies Speaking of crypto-assets, in attempting to launch Libra, their revolutionary new foray into the cryptocurrency markets. With approximately one-quarter of the currency’s having already jumped ship - there’s diminishing hope of the cryptocurrency delivering on the promise it mustered up earlier in 2019. Facebook has had a torrid time 29 founding members However, the significance of Facebook’s sights being set on releasing a cryptocurrency has caused the market to wake up to new innovations as we move into the next decade of finance. Libra is designed to act as a . When you hear the name ‘Bitcoin’ the chances are that you’ll envision rollercoaster share prices punctuated by astronomical values and basement price drops. This, however, isn’t the case for a stablecoin. This is because stablecoins like Libra will be tied to real-world assets, like the US Dollar and gold, as a means of ensuring that its price stays - well - stable. stablecoin The problem with the cryptocurrencies of yesteryear is that their volatile prices means that there is very little practical use for the Bitcoin and Ethereum holders of this world. That’s where Facebook planned to step in with Libra. The implications of Libra were exciting - and this can still be the case. Stablecoins can bring banking to the unbanked areas of Central Africa and Asia and can potentially pave the way to a universal currency to be used worldwide. Libra will be one of many stablecoin cryptocurrencies to enter the market in 2020, and this newfound wave of technological stability could ultimately herald a newfound era of alternative finance. An Early Glance Into The Best Tech Trends: 2020 Edition

For some time now the developers have been working on the new version 7 of . This version will bring some innovations and may be one of the most important releases in the history of the project. Ubuntu will be updated to LTS (18.04), the domain controller Samba4 will be introduced and OPNSense will take over the firewall tasks in version 7 (previously IPFire). Furthermore there will be a new web interface based on Ajenti. For testing and only with a part of the functions this web interface is already available in the current version 6.2. Today I would like to take a first look at the new web interface in linuxmuster.net v7. linuxmuster.net Installation of a linuxmuster.net v7 test system All necessary steps for the installation are documented in the (although in german). There you can find the firewall, the server and new Dockerhost appliances, i.e. ready Virtualbox images. For our insight into the new web interface we need the images for the firewall and the server. After download we can import the two images into Virtualbox. The server has preset the network 10.0.0.0/16. Its IP is 10.0.0.1 while the firewall has the IP 10.0.0.254. So we need another computer to be able to look at the web interface. We can simply create another VM with the operating system of our choice. All we need is a browser in subnet 10.0.0.0.0/16. I just use another Ubuntu VM. Github Wiki of the project The new school console aka webUI7 Setup After we have finished setting up our test system, we can access the new web interface of linuxmuster.net at At the beginning we can only log in as root user (default password is pattern!), because no other users exist yet. After logging in, the assistant for the initial setup of the server appears. Here we define the most important data for our school server (e.g. domain name, admin password, mail server setup, etc.). http://10.0.0.1:8000. When the setup is finished, the server has to be restarted once. After that the linuxmuster.net web interface is only accessible via HTTPS (https://10.0.0.1:8000). Administration The new web interface is roughly divided into the following areas: General Settings user administration list management device management class management Settings for schools Depending on which rights a user has, only some of these areas are available in the webUI. Many of the modules were already available in a preliminary version for the current version 6.2. New is the class management module, with which teachers can manage functions such as internet access, web filters, file distribution and collection for their lessons. A lot has happened in the last weeks and the new version of the free school server solution is gaining more and more stability. This is especially true for the new web interface. linuxmuster.net v7 — First Glance at the New Web Interface

To be honest, I’m still not entirely sure how that one works (I think it’d deserve its own article) — it looks nicer with lambdas, and it is an implementation of a finite-state state machine with strictly defined states, where the unions define the given state, and how they react in that given state. the “Tennis Kata” using RxSealedUnions With that union setup, invalid states are impossible. While this is what MVI hopes to achieve with its immutable view state — to me, and maybe many others, the concept of MVI seems hard to grasp, hard to master, and hard to implement. If you want to learn about MVI, you’ll see intimidating code and intimidating frameworks such as (JS), (JS), (Kotlin), and last but not least (a functional language, unlike C#, C++ or — which are imperative)! The app itself looks fairly simple — you can tap the card to have the top of the deck dealt, you can ask the app to shuffle the deck. and you can create a new deck (which takes all dealt cards and reshuffles it). The operations themselves are not immediate — it simulates “loading” in-between, as the “network requests” take time. Occasionally, there is also “error” injected with a random chance, to show that sometimes, things don’t work out, and we need to handle error states as well. Overview of components Components and their interactions with one another There are a few important things to note here. : refers to the actions that the user can trigger via the UI. Intentions : subscribes to all exposed requests and operations that trigger a change in state.
