Bitcoin, the world’s most popular and valuable cryptocurrency clearly you know that, but has been under fire for its environmental impact. Critics claim that Bitcoin mining, the process of creating new bitcoins and securing the network, consumes too much energy, emits too much carbon dioxide, and contributes to global warming. But is Bitcoin mining really as bad as it sounds? Or is there more to the story than meets the eye? In this article, we will explore the truth about Bitcoin mining, energy and the environment. I will explain how Bitcoin mining works, and why it requires a lot of energy and computing power.
