Too Long; Didn't Read

$BTC and $ETH are the blue chip crypto every HODLer should have in their portfolio. Bitcoin is the digital gold and will peg the crypto market for some more time now. Get your hands on BTC and ETH as much as you can in your crypto portfolio. While also collect many altcoins in very small amounts.

As always, remember to DYOR!

What cryptocurrencies have you most recently purchased? And why?

Recently while researching I stumbled upon COLLAB token by COLLAB.LAND is a discord bot that helps you gate-keep community channels using crypto tokens like NFTs and ERC20 tokens. It was hard to get hands on these tokens for everyone as they were deployed on a less adopted Optimism network and were available only on Uniswap v3. I had to bridge some ETH from polygon to optimism using Stargate in order to get my hands on some COLLAB tokens.

What cryptocurrencies have you most recently sold? And why?

I rarely sell any crypto. Other than selling some USDT to pay my rent, I rarely sell any crypto assets. Waiting patiently for the next Bitcoin Halving. #Wagmi

What percentage of your wealth do you invest in cryptocurrencies? And how did you determine that percentage?

I am personally 100% invested in cryptocurrencies. I believe they have a huge future, and I do have the appetite to take high risks at a young age. I have researched well on blockchain technology from Tech and Business perspectives, thus waiting for a big return on these riskier investments.

Which cryptocurrency/ies do you think has/have the most long-term utility value? And why?

In my opinion, $BTC and $ETH are the blue chip crypto every HODLer should have in their portfolio. Bitcoin is the digital gold and will peg the crypto market for some more time now. Ethereum is a pioneer in L1 Blockchain technology and is continuously developing as a Technology and an Ecosystem.

Among other promising projects that can reach the tier soon are LINK: Oracles to bridge onchain and off-chain worlds, MATIC: a fast-paced innovative L2, and FIL: Leveraging the decentralized storage solution by IPFS.

What is the most money you’ve lost on a cryptocurrency? Which coin when?

By the nature of the HODL portfolio, there’s a possibility of total loss in some cases. One such case which got me into trouble was the Terra LUNA collapse. Fortunately, the sum was less than $1000 and I still hold the coins till date.

How would you describe your investment thesis?

Based on analysis of the crypto market macro trends, we can observe a 4-year Bitcoin halving cycle, during which the miner's rewards are reduced by half approximately every 4 years, depending on the number of blocks. It's worth noting that Bitcoin plays a significant role in driving the entire crypto market, with Ethereum also contributing significantly.

Consequently, the crypto market experiences a macrocycle approximately every 4 years. While Bitcoin and Ethereum boast large market capitalizations and exhibit relative stability, altcoins further down the chart often undergo significant volatility. This volatility can lead to either remarkable unrealized gains of up to 100x or, unfortunately, substantial total losses.

Lastly, do you have a hot cryptocurrency tip to share with the HackerNoon community?

Buy time is about to be over soon. Get your hands on BTC and ETH as much as you can in your crypto portfolio. While also collecting many altcoins in very small amounts. HODL and enjoy your retirement.

It goes without saying, but please #DYOR (do your own research).
