Too Long; Didn't Read

Information Technology professional with 25+ years expertise in application design and architecture. Don’t replace a monolith with another monolith disguised as a modernized service. Never assume that existing program logic is 100% correct. Avoid accepting bad data models to be included in the modernized system. Avoid using a God service to create a new service that is just as complicated as the original system … if not more complicated. Avoid a God Service to create the desired services currently (or lower request levels) Within Heroku, Heroku has created a design that simply replaces the application with a RESTful API.
