OpenAPI Specification (formerly Swagger Specification) is an API description format for REST APIs. An OpenAPI file allows you to describe your entire API, including the available endpoints (URLs) and methods (e.g. GET, POST, etc.) Many API management tools support the Open API specification. In this article, we'll take a look at what an OpenAPI specification is, and how you can use it to document your APIs.
