Players will soon get the chance to experience a new video game based on the Games Workshop’s Warhammer Age of Sigmar campaign. Focus Home Interactive and developer Gasket Games this week revealed a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming turn-based strategy game inspired by the Warhammer franchise. Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground will arrive in May as a multi-platform release.
The newest trailer release for Storm Ground offers a more in-depth look at the Maggotkin of Nurgle, which is one of the three highly customizable army units in the game. The Maggotkin will have the ability to create hazardous zones throughout the battlefield to deal with enemy units.
The other two customizable armies available to players in the game include the eternal Stormcasts and the ghoulish Nighthaunt. Players will be able to compete in rogue-like single-player campaigns or against other players using the online PvP mode. For each battle, players will be able to obtain new cards to enhance their units, skills, weapons, gear and more in their campaign of conquest.
