I’ve written 2 insightful reviews for the mobile app already, this is the 3rd.

For this review, I am writing on a Xiaomi Redmi1, no desktop or laptop, just a phone!

The app is responsive; what I write is exactly what I see when I preview my story. To be honest, the writing experience on the mobile app is interesting, and I will use my phone wherever I go, relying less on my desktop and laptop.

However, even great things could use some improvement. Here are some things I’d add to the HackerNoon App:

Suggested Features for the HackerNoon Mobile App

  1. Include a word count feature in the app for contributors, allowing them to easily track their progress and ensure they meet the 500-word format or exceed it.
  2. Implement a TLDR (Too Long; Didn't Read) feature in the writing settings of the app, enabling users to summarize their content for quick comprehension.
  3. Introduce a multi-color pencil tool to highlight specific text segments while writing, enhancing organization and emphasis.
  4. Incorporate the Swahili language into the app as it is widely spoken, extending accessibility to a broader audience beyond the African continent.
  5. Enhance the code editor by providing users with the option to select their preferred programming language, catering to diverse coding needs.
  6. Integrate bullet points and numbered lists functionality, facilitating structured and organized content creation.
  7. Include an information note feature to explain details or provide additional context while writing, ensuring clarity and comprehensibility.

Conclusion

Whether you're on a plane, lounging at the beach with your favorite juice, or cozied up in your bedroom on a chilly day, the latest update empowers you to write and inspire the globe from anywhere!
