School leaders in New York City, Las Vegas, and Washington, D.C. have announced to discontinue the Zoom video conferencing for online classes due to increasing security concerns. The privacy and security concerns raised by zoom are as a result of unauthorized access in which uninvited entities disrupt the ongoing meetings. This data is further used by bad entities for an array of malicious purposes. The need for an hour is to verify the users through biometric facial recognition which is a secure way and is more accurate than traditional PINs and passwords.
