It appears Disney is teaming with DotEmu to bring a pair of classic LucasArts games that were originally released on the Super Nintendo to the Nintendo Switch. Zombies Ate My Neighbors and its sequel, Ghoul Patrol, are being made available for the switch under the Lucasfilm Classic Games Banner, courtesy of DotEmu on the Nintendo eShop (h/t NintendoEverything).

Players will be able to experience both games in a special double-pack collection with new enhanced features and brand-new museum features. Additionally, players will be able to save their progress in both games and continue whenever and wherever they want.

The new Museum Features has a video interview with one of the original Zombies' developers, along with art galleries featuring unreleased concept images and marketing assets. Another bonus feature is the entire digital soundtrack for both titles in the music players.

The collection does have a 2-Player Mode, but based on the Nintendo eShop listing, it's two-player local co-op only. So, it does not appear there will be online two-player co-op. Lastly, the collection features new game achievements for Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol.

Getting classic 16-bit era releases on newer generation hardware is definitely a nice way to keep the legacies of these games alive. LucasArts created some classic, memorable titles over the years. Hopefully, it's a trend that can continue.

Currently, there only appears to be a Nintendo eShop listing for this release. The collection is due out June 29. You can view the trailer for the new Switch collection below.
