There’s a lot of chatter and concern about <a href="https://rules.house.gov/bill/115/sj-res-34" target="_blank">S.J. Res. 34</a>, a pending resolution that will allow Internet Service Providers (<a href="https://hackernoon.com/tagged/isps" target="_blank">ISPs</a>) to record your activity and then sell that information. From what I have read, most people are focusing on your “web history.” This focus is harmful because there are many additional types of information that can reveal details about you, and you cannot solve this <a href="https://medium.freecodecamp.com/how-to-set-up-a-vpn-in-5-minutes-for-free-and-why-you-urgently-need-one-d5cdba361907" target="_blank">simply by</a> <a href="https://journal.standardnotes.org/vpns-are-absolutely-a-solution-to-a-policy-problem-3b88af699bcd" target="_blank">using a VPN</a>.
