Hello everybody! My name is Nima. I’m a web developer and app researcher. I’ve decided to publish “Unreleased Updates with Nima“ on Hackernoon! This is the title of my monthly newsletter but I thought Hackernoon readers may like my findings, too.
If you don’t know what is it, I search for upcoming and unreleased features of apps like Twitter and I publish them before the official announcement. Actually, I tweet them as soon as I find them but I’ll also write about them here, monthly. So let’s get started!
It’s been a while since Twitter released the Twitter Spaces tab for iOS users. Now, it seems Twitter is bringing the spaces tab to the Android app and the web app as well!
Let’s see some images:
Right now, Android and iOS users can add locations to their tweets using their phones. Now, Twitter is also bringing this feature to its web app. Personally, I don’t use this feature frequently, but many people love it!
On October 19, Twitter added a feature to its web app named “Account Delegation”. I don’t have any other information about it since it’s not fully implemented. But I was able to see it button!
As you may know, Twitter is working on a new feature called “Safety Mode”. Now, Twitter has added a page to its web app which describes this new feature! Let’s see what it is!
Twitter Blue, Twitter’s subscription plan, is adding some new and interesting features every day! For example, Twitter Blue subscribers will be able to read articles on websites like The Verge and Mac Rumors without seeing ads!
LinkedIn is working on some new features named “Creator tools”! I don’t know what they’ll be, but we can see a screenshot of them!
LinkedIn is adding a feature to its web app that lets you add an additional name to your profile. You’ll also be able to choose who can see your additional name.
Instagram users were able to add their birthdays to their accounts from the mobile app. Now, Instagram is adding this feature to its web app.
I think this issue is getting so long so I believe it’s enough for this month! Thank you so much for being with me through the end of this issue! Don’t forget to follow me on Twitter. I’ll tweet my findings on Twitter as soon as I find them! My handle is @nima_owji! Thanks a lot and have a great time!
