Tell us a bit about your project! Why did you decide that data is important for you and your community?

The Satoshiverse is an NFT collaboration between premiere metaverse studio Apollo Entertainment and legendary DC and Marvel comic artist and creator of the first NFT comic book, Jose Delbo. The Satoshiverse includes thousands of digital collectibles and a first-of-its-kind blockchain-enabled action RPG called Satoshi’s Legions: The Battle For The Outskirts, which is being developed in Unreal Engine 5. The game is currently in community alpha testing for holders of our avatar collections but is set to release publicly with its open alpha in late 2023.

Analyzing community data helps us identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement so we can continuously adapt our strategies based on the insights we gain both from our community’s feedback and the data we analyze.

What kind of data do you look for when it comes to marketing campaigns?

When we run a marketing campaign, we really want to provide value for our existing community and also introduce new people around the world to what we are building. Therefore, data on participation in our campaigns and subsequent retention of new members within our community is most useful. We want to make sure that new members of our community feel welcome and that we do whatever it takes to help them understand our long term vision.

How has W3W’s data analytics and CRM platform helped you understand more about your community?

W3W’s data analytics has helped us understand what other communities or projects our community members are interested in, which in turn helps us understand the type of content that they like or look for. This helps us make informed decisions toward driving growth and creating a more meaningful and rewarding experience for our community members.

What advice would you give to other projects that haven’t started looking into analytics and understanding more about their community members?

Analytics can provide valuable insights into your community’s preferences, behaviors, and engagement patterns. You can use this data to inform your project’s direction, content creation, and marketing strategies. Specifically, NFTs provide a valuable connection between a project and its community, as they allow projects to interact and reward their communities in ways not previously possible. When thinking about how to reward your community, analytics can provide useful information, such as how many of a particular NFT a collector is holding and how long they have been holding those NFTs for.
