Pieter van der Does

Pieter holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Amsterdam. He worked as CCO of BiBit Global Payment Services in 1999, and eventually became the Royal Bank of Scotland's Head of Sales and Account management. He founded Adyen alongside Arnout Schuijff in 2006, with the aim of helping businesses grow. Adyen is partnered with companies such as eBay, Spotify, and Uber, providing a platform for businesses to accept payments. The company has been profitable since 2011, reaching a net revenue of EUR 684 million in 2020.
