Building A Stone-Age Blockchain

Lovely written. Coincidentally, I used the Yap rock blockchain example 2 weeks ago in our grounding community here in Ibiza. We are co-creating society 4.0, and are looking for a token to experiment with, since our community is less than 150 people. ( the Dunbar number). This token might well become stones as well, since the ancient meaning of the word Balearic ( where I live) is ‘Stone Throwers’. My question is, what if the population of YAP, would grow and exceed the Dunbar number, meaning it would grow soo big that some people (nodes) did not get confirmed about a transaction?
