My path to founding ResearchCollab.ai wasn't a straight line. It was a 20-year journey of trial, error, and education. My first major venture in the 2000s was a success by many metrics—a website with 95,000 members—but I learned a tough lesson about the importance of focus. My second attempt taught me an even tougher lesson about product-market fit. Though I returned to my corporate career, I still had that burning desire to build something meaningful.
