The Reality of Digital Nomads: Chasing Adventure, Finding What?

I’ve never seen the movie Groundhog day, but I guess I’m more of a simple person where I don’t need to think about the nitty gritties like what to eat, where to buy etc..

I don’t have that many friends in Korea either. I thought being abroad would help with my loneliness and self-esteem by creating a justification for the fact on why I didn’t have many friends.

My conclusion is that I should’ve stuck around home being proactive in making more friends rather than running away from the problem. I came back home, lonely af and started reaching out to some old friends and acquaintances. Having someone to message even just every now and is helping a lot with my darkest moments of loneliness.

Hey, @benoitmalige - I will write more in depth about the self-discovery I experience in Part 2 and how being a Digital Nomad helped out. I also had an overall positive experience, this one more for getting the bad news out of the way.
