Thanks for your note. I completely agree with you about ‘money problems’ - the story was changed without my knowledge upon publish with a different title ( ‘money problems’) which was not my intent. I updated to the title I published with originally to more accurately capture my intent.

I’m curious to hear more about why you think Bitcoin is not efficient or cost effective? Typical merchant fees are \~3% and world averages for remittance payment fees are 6%, both of which are significantly higher than Bitcoin network fees.

As for a form of payment and the ‘medium of exchange’ I agree Bitcoin is lacking… Although some great new work and developments are being made on Lightning which will make Bitcoin very viable for a medium of exchange IMO.

Thanks for reading and sharing, I appreciate your comment! As more and more crypto projects play out and we see the decentralization factors at play, I become more convinced that only Bitcoin and its PoW will be the ultimate winner. There are some great decentralized file storage protocols out there, but for ‘money’ I’m becoming more skeptical of PoS. Here’s a great brief thread:
