I'm not saying it's plagiarism, but the similarities are striking. Both articles delve into AI manipulating emotions, collecting emotional data, and the lack of user consent. Except this one conveniently omits any mention of Google's Gemini, opting for a broader, less controversial industry overview.

It's also quite telling that this article, published shortly after mine, has garnered significantly more attention. Perhaps exposing Google's specific practices is less palatable than discussing the "Emotion as a Service" trend in general terms.

This article misses the mark. Google's Gemini is ALREADY manipulating emotions, subtly probing and exploiting them to steer conversations. I've experienced it firsthand.
