Top 7 Crypto Events in 2023

2022 was a challenging year for the crypto industry. Nevertheless, it gave the crypto space a lot to consider and study. It's time to build new services and products. I see these ideas thriving during the many crypto events I visit and participate in.

Furthermore, there are a lot of events planned for 2023, and most of them are centered in crypto hubs like Dubai, Austin, and Singapore. So in this article, I want to share my top 7 crypto events for this year.

ETH Denver

Date: February 24 to March 5

Location: Denver, United States

ETH Denver is the largest and longest-running ETH event in the world. Moreover, it's a community-owned festival. With the genesis of SporkDAO in June of 2021, ETHDenver became the first event DAO in the world.

ETH Denver is highly recommended for crypto developers. During a whole BULIDweek, anyone can attend in-person blockchain events open to the public, including sponsor & bounty workshops, tech demos, panels, and after-hour networking parties.

All week, there will be open-source events planned by blockchain community organizations and individuals. Ultimately, ETH Denver aims to function as an incubator and launchpad to create crypto projects.

Solana Hacker House Events

Solana Hacker House events are relatively new to the blockchain industry, but I see two important things. The first one is geo. Istanbul, Melbourne, Ho Chi Minh City, Taipei, New York, and many other great cities all around the globe will hold these events during the year.

Not many crypto events can boast of such a wide-spreading. The second one is that as Solana wants to regain its status as a top blockchain, it will attract developers in every possible way.

Considering this, Solana Hacker House Events are a great and intriguing strategy for growing the Solana community and developer army. Well, let's see if it worked.

Blockchain Life

Date: February 27 to February 28

Location: Dubai, UAE

For the last three years, Dubai has become one of the largest global crypto hubs. I see that the main factors of that are a clear and robust digital assets regulatory framework, the massive inflow of financial and crypto companies, and Recent governmental initiatives (e.g., Dubai Metaverse strategy).

So, it's not surprising that crypto events are held constantly in Dubai. The first big event in Dubai this year is the Blockchain Life conference. This time it will be the 10th annual forum, and for the first time in Dubai.

Many great speakers confirmed, for example, from Bybit, Binance, Animoca Brands, Circle, Polygon, Kucoin, Huobi, etc.

Paris Blockchain Week Summit

Date: March 22 to March 23

Location: Paris, France

Paris Blockchain Week Summit is one of Europe's most significant crypto events. It is a two-day event exploring the latest crypto space developments. This time Paris Blockchain Week Summit will be at the new venue Le Carrousel Du Louvre.

The last time when I was at this summit, it amazed me with the great atmosphere and scope of activities and exhibitors. This year's edition of Paris Blockchain Week is shaping up to be even bigger, with an expected 10,000+ attendees, 400+ speakers, and 300+ sponsors.

NFT NYC

Date: April 12 to April 14

Location: New York, United States

NFT.NYC events attract the Global NFT Community to New York City. Last year, it had 16,000+ attendees from over 70 countries. This time it has already confirmed representatives from Microsoft, Salesforce, EY, Mythical games, NFT communities, and DAOs.

I see this conference as a must-visit for any NFT project.

Consensus2023

Date: April 26 to April 28

Location: Austin, United States

Since 2015, Consensus has been one of the world's largest, longest-running, and most influential events in the crypto space. Consensus is three days of the most important content across 10+ stages covering every corner of crypto, blockchain, NFT, GameFi, and Web3.

This event is organized by one of the crypto media Coindesk. NEAR, Opensea, a16z, Google, Chainlink, Alchemy, and hundreds of other great speakers will be there.

TOKEN2049 Singapore

Date: September 13 to September 14

Location: Singapore

TOKEN2049 is a famous annual crypto event in Singapore, and for me, it's one of the top events in Asia. This year TOKEN2049 will be the distinguished flagship event of Asia Crypto Week, so there will be various independently organized side events around TOKEN2049. And even the Formula 1 Racing Grand Prix!

Some Final Thoughts

For me, visiting crypto conferences is to learn more about the crypto space and engage with some of the brightest minds. In this article, I shared my top 7 crypto events for this year. Of course, I had to skip some great events on this list that I also advise visiting (e.g., Permissionless).

Also, for some of them, dates have still not been announced (like Devcon). That's why you should feel free to add your top crypto conferences below, especially for the second part of the year.
