What do to do when you have pages of them.

At any given moment, I have zillions of pieces that I have written or started to write on Medium that are not yet published.

The come in three flavors (whoops, I mean categories)

  1. Articles I have already scheduled for publication. I’m done with these, I wish they would just show up in my “published category” because I can ignore them. BTW: The scheduling support built into medium is very nice.
  2. ?? Articles I haven’t finished and want to work on.
  3. ** Articles I haven’t finished and am unlikely to ever finish.

I want to be able to quickly find Category 2 (Articles I want to work on) and it was frustrating for me having to click on many articles because I couldn’t tell which was which.

And when I send unfinished piece out for comment, the ?? let people know.

Adding the ?? and ** to the unscheduled articles removed this frustration. It saved time. It may not be a big thing, but anything that improves the “joy per hour” and “ joy per unit of frustration” is not a little thing either.

This is the set of tips: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6
